Similan Diving April 16, 2008

April 16, 2008

Today there was some seriously great weather. On the mainland we could see the rain and storms building up, but it never affected us on the way out.

With a diverse group – Advanced divers, an Open water course and a DSD we had a bit of everything.

Marcel took the DSD and made his student happy. Tuk, great as always with his Open Water students.

Filip also took a group to Bon Soong today and it was good. Viz at 15 meters+ and that was very nice.

Our day on Koh Bon…

April 16, 2008
We dived Koh Tachai and Koh Bon today and the weather was perfect. There was a current at Koh Tachai – but there often is. There was also a Manta with us for 20 minutes of the dive. She was really big (4.5 meters/15 feet wingspan) and spent some quality time with each of the dive groups.

The water was smooth and clear (slight thermocline at 17 meters) and it was just a nice day to be out.

Bon soong april 15

April 16, 2008
We visited Bon Soong today and I must say these were the best conditions of the year! I could see all the details of the wreck right from the surface! No current, perfect viz and so many fish that we could not see a thing! We had to move the fish out of the way to see the wreck!

The weather today is perfect! 20 meters viz

Another successful Day of Khao Lak Diving!
